Pink African Violet Saintpaulia Ionantha, 4" Pot. African violets are a compact houseplant that bloom several times a year. Greenish rosette of thick, fuzzy leaves and violet-like flowers. African violets will do best in bright, warm, and humid conditions. Keep water from touching their leaves or browning may develop. Bottom watering is best. Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Remove dead flowers and leaves to encourage a healthier plant. Regularly check the soil for excess moisture, which leads to root rot. Prefer temps in the 70's, not below 60F. African violets need good air circulation. Don't be discouraged if your African violets suffer some damage, it's all part of the process.
